Education: Bachelor of Fine Art, Edinboro University Of Pennsylvania, 1976

Apprentice to Master printmaker John C. Sirica, Washington, D.C., 1977

Adjunct Professor of Art Gettysburg College, 1985

Exhibits: Many shows and galleries including one man exhibitions. Winner of many awards, including several best of show, and judges awards. For the past 15 years self employed as artist/sculptor with a special interest in carved stone, and cast bronze pieces.

Recent major works:

1991 winner of a national design competition from which the design was subsequently cast in a bronze edition of 100 pieces, which was nationally marketed as a fund raising project for elderly housing.

1992 Artist in Residence, Old Trail School, Bath Ohio. Created a 7000 lb sculpture in the courtyard, while school classes were in session. Finished piece is on perminent display.

1994 Bronze 24'' statue "Old Man on the Fence" , National Headquarters Westfield Companies, Westfield Center, Ohio.

1996-97 Life size (6 ft.) "Col. Strong Vincent, July 2, 1863", Civil war heroic statue commissioned by the Erie Bicentennial Commemoratives Committee, Erie, Pa.

1997 Richland County Soldiers Memorial. A 7' bronze Civil War statue. The original zinc statue was destroyed, and this copy commissioned by the Sons of Veterans, Mansfield Ohio.

1998-99 carved stone Mexican War soldier "The Sentinel", private commercial commission, La Grange, Ohio.

1998 Carved stone sanctuary Temple Ohav Shalom, Pgh, Pa. Commission also included two 6' bronze doors that slide across the stone wall to reveal religious cabinet.

1999 Commissioned to execute two 9' bronze and glass doors through New York City design firm of Clodagh International, for Nemacolin Woodlands Resort Spa.

1999 Commissioned by DAR to sculpt and cast life size "Doughboy", a WW1 soldier dedicated Nov.11,1999

2000 Commissioned to design, sculpt, cast and install a life size Holocaust figure, Pittsburgh, Pa.
